Join us in celebrating the strong, empowering strides forward we continue to make as women and take part in a Q&A surrounding this year’s theme for International Women’s Day – Press For Progress.

Gretel Killeen is an award winning TV host, comic, journalist, author and is regularly seen on TV and heard on radio as a social/political commentator. Gretel was a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for seven years and is now a Pink Ribbon and Australia Day Ambassador.

Margaret Pomeranz AM presented The Movie Show on SBS and subsequently At The Movies on the ABC for twenty eight years. She is past President of Watch on Censorship, and of the Film Critics Circle of Australia. She is patron of the Adelaide Film Festival, the Human Right’s Film Festival and Dame Changer – a progressive organisation chartered to build the leadership capabilities and career success of women in screen.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There are many parking stations near the Parkroyal Darling Harbour as well as limited valet  and self-parking options available at the hotel itself.

For a more affordable option with self-parking, we recommend:

Cinema Centre Car Park
521 Kent St, Sydney (entrance on Sussex St)
Evening Parking Rate (entry after 3pm | exit before 5am) – $13

If you prefer to catch public transport, the Parkroyal Darling Harbour is located a short 5 minute walk from Town Hall Station
